Serves 4 - 6
We recommend you cook SooFoo in a rice cooker.
Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked SooFoo®
2 cups of water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-2 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
1. Mix SooFoo®, water, salt and oil together in a saucepan
2. Bring to a boil and cover
3. Reduce heat to a lower setting allowing SooFoo® to simmer
4. Cook for 45-50 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed
5. Turn off burner and let stand uncovered for 10 minutes then fluff with a fork
Some people like SooFoo softer, some a little firmer. We encourage you to try cooking SooFoo in different ways (a little more or less water) until you find the texture you like the best.
